The temple is situated towards the east of Gosripuram Tirumala temple at Cochin in a side lane opposite to NAM hospital from the East sannidhi road. The deity of this temple is Dhanwanthari, the physician of Gods. The Dhanwanthari moorthy is four-handed. The right upper hand holds a Chakra (wheel) and the lower hand holds a Leach between the index finger and the thumb. Other three fingers show upright. The left upper-hand holds a Conch while lower hand holds a Pot with Nector. Lord Dhanwanthari is considered as an incarnation of Vishnu.
